Tessa Reid Hickman
Tessa Reid Hickman (she/her) is a multidisciplinary designer and musician currently living in Los Angeles. She is the founder of BLUFF, co-founder of Canopy Hands, and a SCAD graduate.
“As a queer person born & raised in the south, I find that my drive to create comes primarily from the desire to be a beacon of hope for the next generation. I feel there’s a duty to set an example & to inform. Misinformation is something that is actively harmful to people like me in the LGBTQ+ community & I find the most satisfaction in bringing design back to community. Design can’t exist without the social context surrounding it & my goal is to be a reflection of that context in a way that inspires empathy.”
